Cornbread, the Godfather of Graff

A little late, but I did want to mention this. I am a HUGE fan of graffiti art. Just the simple act of creating art in a place where it shouldn’t be is inspiring. Dodging cops, going back again and again to keep up the colors, it’s something you should not take lightly. Granted not ALL buildings should have Graff on them. But an abandoned building can look like a canvas to some. This video might dispute where graffiti art is from, but that is not the point. I want to illustrate how it has grown from the beginnings, and how it is viewed as some of the most unappreciated art of our time.

Look forward for me cataloging some tags in my area . OF course anyone can send in pictures they have themselves. I will do my best to give credit to all artists and help illustrate the beauty of this style that is not from any text book or art school, but truly from the soul of the person it represents.

Here is the Trailer to Cornbread’s movie
